Time Flies

Oh, how time flies! I am excited about all that life has brought my way and all that is to come. I'm a momma!!! my sweet little 8 month old, Amora Joy has brought so much love to our home!!! Hopefully this explains my disappearance from the blogging world...and facebook stole me for some photo posting and all those family updates. But I'm still here! I'm still teaching special needs children at the elementary level and it still proves to be a very difficult and challenging position, but we have our good days! Anyway, my husband and I hope to engage with the world around us through all the creativity we a-feel a-burnin' in our souls! we  pray for all kinds of opportunities and hope our blogspots are a good place to start a-churnin'. (he'll be startin his own soon, so be on the look out...he's a real cool guy, and one of the best writers I know!) in the mean time, we'll just keep praying for more sleep these days!!! Thanks for reading! ;) ALL KINDS OF UPLOADS TO COME!

As a special education teacher my job, along with hundreds of other new and passionate teacher's jobs, is at risk because of legislative cuts to the school's budget...bummer? yes, in many ways. exciting? yes! in so many other ways...above is the means by which I may begin making a living...

Has it really been over a year since my last entry???!!! Wow! The BIG reason is mainly due to my becoming a school teacher! There is much to say, much to do, much to revamp, so please bare with me as I await the summer!!! In the mean time, here's a pic of other things I do! Lately, saaaaay....like the past 8 years or so it's been local, but I love being local! I love the people! I am so excited about this new year and the endeavors at hand! Let's catch up soon!!!

Sheeeesh! it's been a while. well, i had a brief encounter with oil pastels and a friend, so what better to create than the colors of FALL! and really, i've been needing to reconnect with entries...sooooooo. yay!

i don't know if my brain happens to pick between words and pictures cause today i still don't have much to say...but! strangely this sketch was inspired by the thought of long hair so i googled and got here...
super weird...to say the least. so, i went to veer.com instead, and found a pleasant reference picture for this sketch...and still my illustrations evolve into something completely different...there are pros and cons.
